Hi, I’m Taylor Zlab, a UX designer and researcher dedicated to crafting thoughtful experiences that help people better understand, engage with, and shape the world around them.

Topia began as a response to the growing fatigue I felt while navigating news, opinions, and misinformation online. As someone who values curiosity and critical thinking, I wanted to create a space where information isn’t just consumed—but understood.

Over the years, I’ve:

  • Led large-scale mural projects in K–12 schools as a project manager and designer at Capital Murals

  • Developed visual identities and marketing materials for startups, including the launch of

  • Built digital products that prioritize transparency, ethics, and user empowerment—like Topia
